The idea of igniting the passion in students - helping them to own their own learning is central to all conversations I have been involved in so far. This requires a teacher to be visibly passionate as well.
two post spatterings from virtual attendance:

friday night - my fav was Eddie Glaude being completely transparent with his thought process

saturday - my fav was Jackie Gerstein's ability to perfectly match up the topic (student-centric model) with how she ran the session. Also Peggy George as a lovely moderator.

ok, I have a dumb question from reading peoples tweets...what is back channeling and how does it work?
As People watch the presentation, they tweet out highlights and comments. Many presenters run the twitterline on a screen during the presentation. They may respond to the tweets a s they come up.People who are not there may interact over the internet.
how does one create a twitter line?

arent there webpages that allow kids to text their thoughts and the texts appear on the screen?
Still reflecting on a tremendous Educon 2.2 experience. I know this, I can't wait for 2.3.
