The Educator's PLN

The personal learning network for educators

I started my first blog less then a week ago (http://bloggingteachingandsecondgradeohmy.blogspot.com/) and I am needing some help with a few things- besides getting more followers!

When I am looking at other blogs, a lot seem to have a pinterest button connecting to their pinterest and I can't figure out how to put it on my blog! Any help would be much appreciated!

At the moment that is the main thing I want help with, but being less then a week in I know I will have more question!

thanks in advance :-)

no need- I figured it out :-) I also added a twitter button and a button for this site while I was there :)

Oh I guess I answered this for nothing, haha oops! Glad you figured it out, your reply never showed up when I answered earlier.

1 ) When you are viewing your blog click on "design" on the top of your blogger dashboard.

2 ) Click on "layout" on the left hand side

3 ) Click on "add a gadget" in the appropriate place on your layout page

4 ) Scroll down the gadget list and click on "HTML/JavaScript" (this will open a new window)

5 ) Open the Pinterest Goodies page in another new window at http://pinterest.com/about/goodies/

6 ) Pick which "follow me on pinterest" button you like and copy the html code it provides

7 ) Add this into the blank area in the html/javascript window that you opened before

8 ) Press save

9 ) Click "save arrangement" on the top of the page

10 ) You can now view your blog and it should be there

It will now be on your blog!
