If you teach at the middle school level, you could do a biography project using a Facebook template.

Make sure you get 1) the rubric, 2)number of friends/connections the person will have, and 3) number of replies for each posting.

The project can be very interesting. Students actually like researching a person's inner circle of friends to come up with the ones that would be part of their social network.

Interesting idea, I could see something like this working well for the founding fathers.

Yeah... we used this template to work on biographies, celebrating major cultural heritages- Hispanic heritage month, Black History month, Asian-Pacific heritage month.

I think it would be great for the founding fathers.
