The personal learning network for educators
The AEE Circle (Aboriginal and Environmental Education Circle) is a professional learning community (PLC) and sharing network of 340 educators, teachers, supporters and Aboriginal elders and leaders who gather to share resources, curriculum and teaching strategies that will help Canadian teachers integrate current cultural, environmental and historical contributions of our First Nations, Inuit and Métis Canadians into school curriculum.
This Educator's PLN group is for educators and support workers interested in Canadian Aboriginal culture, issues, achievements and contributions to Canadian society.
Educators in both provincial and First Nation school systems are invited to share best practices and effective strategies in Aboriginal initiatives and support student success.

Comment by David Spencer on November 13, 2011 at 9:23am I am looking forward to the interaction with 900 educators at the Ontario Ministry of Education's Circle of Light: A First Nation, Métis and Inuit Education Conference held November 14 to 16, 2011 in Toronto.
From the Circle of Light: A First Nation, Métis and Inuit Education Conference web site
"The theme of this year's Circle of Light conference, Learning Together for Student Success, reflects the ministry's shared and growing commitment to working in partnership to support the academic achievement of all students. Building on the success of previous Circle of Light conferences, this year's event will feature an inspiring line-up of keynote speakers, interactive panel discussions and an increased number of workshop sessions."
