I teach Math 8 and I'm doing an inquiry on how providing increased
options for at-home support will affect my students' competence and
confidence in mathematics.
Some strategies I currently use are:
a class website with a blog and wiki attached
assignments and providing links on the site for games and further
-email correspondence with students seeking support
want to kick it up a notch. Some ideas I am throwing around are:
a wireless tablo to record process with voicethread (although I have no
idea how to do this yet)
-using Skype to set up some tutorial times
in the evenings for students needing some extra support (but not too
time consuming, maybe half hour a few times/week)
have any other ideas as to how I can go about this? Thanks!!!
