My name is Adam Truitt and I’m currently a NEW Assistant Principal of an Elementary School for a rural public school district in Western Colorado.  I’ve been in the trenches for over 13 years, primarily in the elementary grades – always with a strong desire to push my students beyond the classroom walls.

I’m proud to say that I just finished Graduate School with an MA in Educational Leadership.  Not only am I learning the position that I currently hold but I’m also trying to connect and build my professional learning network (PLN) among instructional leaders, teachers and those that make a difference in education.  Did I mention that I have a 5 year old, 3 year old and an 15 month old.

I look forward to the conversation!

Parents and teachers would do anything to prevent the use of smartphones in the classroom.  Now we’re seeing a different outlook on the benefits of mobile phones in the classroom. In particular, mobile app development is shedding a light on how mobile phones can actually be the key to educational…See More
