Middle School Advisory Program

Recently Readington Middle School implemented a school wide advisory program that focuses on the Six Pillars of Character. Every Tuesday afternoon for approximately thirty minutes, advisors (teachers) meet with their advisees (students) to engage in activities that promote a positive school culture. Topics covered in the activities include a wide variety, such as respect, responsibility, goal setting, bullying prevention, digital citizenship, trustworthiness, caring, current events and empathy.…See More

Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day

This past Tuesday a group of aspiring 8th grade students participated in Exxon Mobil's Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day. Exxon Mobil graciously provided volunteers to assist some of our 8th grade girls in exploring possibilities of choosing research and engineering as exciting and fulfulling career choices. Innovation and Design in the Middle School

The Innovation and Design program offered to all students at Readington Middle School is engaging and relevant. Mr. Newcamp, the program’s teacher, has seen this pre-engineering offering develop from its infancy five years ago to one of the most sought after 21st Century learning curricula in the state.
