You can write a comment to Siria Abud, CEO on ICT service at Universidad de Sonora: cabud@guaymas.uson.mx

You can help me on this matter ´cause the wide of the LAN service it is protected like " a mother take care of her son".

I cannot understand this, in my last visit to EL Salvador in a conferencing meeting, I knew that Universidad Centro Americana Josaé Simeón Cañas use facebook to communicate with their students in general mode.

When I was in UNM in Albuquerque in autumn 2008, they allowed to open ports to use a conference salon meeting to teach my students each saturday and they open the ports in two hours since i Asked, but in my University I have to write a letter and do and do and do some task to open the ports (Internet) that occurs in two weeks. Check the lossing time. You can write me to jcarreno@pitic.uson.mx and visti my web page at http://javiercarreno.redcontable.com or http://edeca,uson.mx/jcarreno.

See you later....

Javier--I'd have to question if your university is there to serve you and your students' needs or if they are there to tell you how to teach. I'm shocked that these essential tools are blocked.

I think it is wonderful to teach using all the ICT but in my university it is not allowed to use Twitter, Facebook and its argument it is: the wide of the lan service it is damaged for the use of videos and music by the students
