Grammar in world language classes!  Is it a dreaded subject like many people think?  Not at all!  In fact, I must admit and confess that I love and enjoy teaching grammar!  Nowadays,  there are so many great tools to teach it:  online exercises, songs, poetry, short stories, podcasts, newspapers and magazines, Skype sessions with friends abroad, and yes, worksheets!  Equipped with all these tools, students, more often than not, succeed and are proud of their accomplishments.  They master conjugation of verbs, agreement of subjects and verbs, nouns, pronouns, adjectives, etc..  After a few lessons, they are capable of writing dialogs, short poems, compositions, skits, conversing and communicating in a new language.  Interestingly enough,  they often declare that they have learned English grammar by acquiring another language.

Thanks for sharing, Gerard! I really enjoy teaching and learning grammar as well :) Great ideas for various tools to use with students of all learning abilities.
