The coolest student dormitory in the world

Calling this beauty "hostel" is simply impossible. This hostel for students is located in Ørestad - the new area of Copenhagen in Denmark. Called - Tietgen Dormitory, and is a circular apartment building with a huge yard. The building was built in 2006. On seven floors there are 360 rooms, occupying a total area of 26,800 sq.m. The round shape of the building - a symbol of equality and unity.

The cylindrical shape of the building is intersected by five vertical lines, which visually and functionally divide the building into sections and are open infinite transitions, which can let you in the central courtyard.

In the courtyard are visible hostel accommodations, cuisine that seemed stuck in the air.

Outside the hostel is lined with oak and red brass.

The windows of all 360 rooms face outward, and the inner courtyard of the building.

The interior space is characterized by smooth painted concrete walls with birch plywood and floors of magnesite.

The kitchen plays an important role in the hostel. A total of 30 spacious building kitchens - one for every 12 rooms. Each kitchen is equipped with 4 fridges, 2 stoves and all necessary equipment for cooking. The kitchen also has a table with colorful chairs.

There is also a reading room for study, where even college paper writing will be a pleasure.

Room with one bedroom covers an area of 26-33 sq.m. The building also has 30 rooms with two bedrooms (for couples and students who need extra space) area of 45 sq.m. All rooms have a similar layout, as if they were pieces of cake.

All rooms has a part with a large window that opens onto a balcony or veranda. All rooms have a private bathroom and toilet with underfloor heating, toilet and shower.
